We had a great time last weekend celebrating Luke and Logan's 3rd Birthday! Then we turned right around and went trick or treating. The boys turned 3 this year, where has the time gone?? Tim and I celebrated with the boys on their birthday and then we had a party with close family the following weekend. They boys had a blast and loved having two birthdays :) We were blessed to have so many of our family there from out of town, with my brother winning the prize for coming the farthest, from Tampa Florida (he actually was buying my dad's car, so he had to drive it all the way back!). Anyway, I have included some pictures from the party which aptly had an "under construction" theme, since the boys love anything truck related and we are still in the throes of building our house. I'll post some progress pics in the next few weeks, the outside is coming along! Tim was also very helpful in that he helped decorate the cake! All in all, we all had a great time and loved getting to catch up with everyone.
We also took the boys trick or treating the following day. We were there for the parade and got to see our nieces and nephew as well. The boys really loved getting the candy, and were pretty good little monkeys. It was definitely during naptime though, and by the end they were getting very tired. Things have been pretty normal for us, Tim spends all his time working and then working at home on the house and we hang around quite a bit. The boys can actually be pretty good little helpers sometimes too. We are not looking forward to the cold weather (wasn't it just winter!?!?), but that means the holidays are coming up, and then we are just a little bit closer to being in the new house. I had a lot of fun at the party glad I could make it and Eric had to beat me out in distance this year!
I just adore those 2 little men! I was lucky to get to spend time with them twice this week. On Wed. I watched them while grammie went to an appt. and yesterday I went with them to Storytime at the library. The boys could've stayed longer and I could've,too, but Grammie said we had to go! I'd love to do it again.
